The magnificent Eden Project in Cornwall, is about to hold "the sexy green car show" - representing a nice, pragmatic approach towards mobility and climate change. As they say on their website:
"...here at Eden, in rural Cornwall, we are acutely aware of all our dependence on the private car. With reduced ticket prices for every other means of getting here, £1.2m of cycle tracks, and the best private facilities for coaches in the country, still 86 per cent of our visitors come by car. Why?"
The event will showcase a number of alternative power and low emission vehicles either available now, or to go on sale in the future - including the official UK launch of VW's Polo 'Bluemotion' which promises lower CO2 emissions than the hybrid Toyota Prius.
The sexy green car show runs at the Eden Project, near St. Austell in Cornwall from 30th March - 15th April 2007.
