I find it odd that you put those two videos together: Bob Casey and the "Bio Babes." Bob Casey is talking about Henry Ford's interest in the soy bean as an "universal crop" which "everyone grows." Soy beans to feed everyone -- not put in cars. When the price of food soars because of the use of crops in cars not food, how do you justify the use? You talk about reducing CO2 emissions. Excuse me if I care more about feeding people than CO2 emissions.

Yael, Henry Ford pioneered using soybeans in the paint of the Model T, and he used recycled wooden crates in the construction of some car parts. He truly believed in sustainability.

So too do we continue to believe that at Ford - which is why soybeans, grown by Ford for our products, are used. They are much more quickly regrown than other crops (such as corn) and we are not taking other crops out of the food cycle.
